Fabulous Fiber-glass fun

Yup, no updates for a long time, but I've been busy with things related to this project that are not worth mentioning here. Let's face it, I'm not going to show how I have put racks up in my garage, nor am I going to waste your time with pictures of me building a cabinet for my tools, so that Christn can move into a clean garage when she comes back.

This easter weekend however, I've managed to get back to the actual project.

You all remember this:

That is the bottom half of the dash I'm fabricating from fibre-glass.

And this here is the top half.

Here they are, separated and together, demonstrating how they will fit.

And this is the money shot, showing the bottom half sitting on the car:

And the top half in place:

For a first time fiber-glass user, I honestly believe I'm doing rather well.

In other news...

I've been informed that Christn's roof lining is fitted and that the windows can go back in. I've also purchased just about every rubber I would need for that job. That then, is the next major step. Once that's done, she'll be coming home for my personal TLC.
